One of the main reasons why we started the Autistic Twins Triplets and More Community is because we just didn’t know enough other families like ours. While our Community continues to grow, we still don’t know enough about what families like ours need. The purpose of the annual survey is to create a record of needs and experiences so that community organizations can learn what types of needs our families have and can better offer support.
2025 survey
We’ve launched our 2025 survey! Based on feedback from our Community, this year’s survey focuses on Parenting and Local Communities. If you are mom, dad, or caregiver for autistic multiples, please take 10 minutes to complete our survey now. The survey will be live until December 31, 2025.
2024 survey

The first annual survey for Autistic Twins Triplets and More (2024) provides a heartfelt look at our experiences. One hundred and twenty-six families shared their stories. Their experiences have given us a deeper understanding of the triumphs. We also recognize the significant challenges that come with raising autistic multiples.
Our findings show that while you’re all incredible advocates for your children, you’re often doing it with limited support. This report highlights the persistent struggles with accessing the right therapies and educational help. It emphasizes the deep need for a true sense of community. The report also points out the exhaustion that comes from a lack of respite. Most importantly, it confirms what many of autistic twin, triplet and quadruplet families have felt in their hearts. They feel alone. They feel isolated and misunderstood.
“It’s been very difficult to navigate all of the steps I’m supposed to take when your children are diagnosed with autism. I don’t know who to turn to to ask questions and I don’t know what’s available to us. I’m just trying to figure it out as I go….”

This report would not be possible without the support and time of our ATTM Community. Members responded to the survey and shared with their networks to guarantee we had a robust response. It truly takes a village – we know our families are stressed and busy! So thank you to everyone who took part.
We’ve worked hard to bring you a report that truly reflects the experiences of autistic multiples families. Our stories are in these pages, help us build a more supportive world by sharing this report with your friends and family. Let’s work together to build a village for every family that needs one.
